Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, dies in a London Hospital
Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s former president (2015–2023), died in London on July 13, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m. BST (15:30 GMT) after a prolonged illness.
He will be buried in accordance with Muslim rites in his home state, Katsina, where he was born
